About Peopleprint Community Media

Peopleprint Community Media has been giving local people a voice since 1984. We have grown to become leading providers of local digital content all across the arts in Rochdale. Core work includes: podcasting, blogging, social networking, digital video, photography and design. We are passionate about creating a friendly atmosphere for people to share skills, gain confidence and go digital.

We work with all ages and abilities in the local community at our studio based at Redbrook Mill, Rochdale. We have a core team of volunteers with an emphasis on informal training, skills sharing and confidence. The positive media produced is of benefit to the local community to tackle isolation and community cohesion, giving local people a voice through digital content. Outreach projects are delivered with community groups, schools and colleges.

If you would like to participate in future projects please email admin@peopleprint.org.uk to be added to our mailing list.

Peopleprint Community Media are pleased to present Leaping Lena!

In the September of 1939 a little girl’s life changes at the outbreak of WW2. Uncle Arthur joins the Milnrow Auxiliary Fire Service and the rest, they say, is history.

Can you spot the local stories in the drama?

We have a limited amount of CDs available free for local people. If you would like to receive a copy please get in touch.

Leaping Lena was produced as part of our Home Front Project, and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
